CPLP Boot Camp "Lite" Webinar (CCASTD)

Hello everyone!

It's Katelind here. I wanted to give you all an Owl's Ledge update and let you know that on December 11th, 2012 at 11:00 AM CST we are partnering with the Chicagoland Chapter ASTD (CCASTD) to host a CPLP® Boot Camp "Lite" Webinar online.

The Webinar provides an overview of the ASTD Certified Professional Learning and Performance (CPLP®) certification and the underlying ASTD Workplace Learning and Performance (WLP) Competency Model. It is a great opportunity for learning professionals who are considering pursuing the certification in 2013.

Over the course of the 90 minute program, you will:
  • Gain a clear understanding of how CPLP® certification can help validate your skills against a professional standard.
  • Identify organizations that are using the CPLP® for career paths and for continued professional growth and education.
  • Follow the criteria for both the CPLP® Knowledge Exam and the CPLP® Work Product submission.
  • Implement tips and tricks to be successful on both phases of the credentialing process.
Who should attend?

Learning professionals interested in the CPLP® certification, including (but not limited to) Instructional Designers, Training Specialists, Facilitators, Coaches, and Training Managers are great candidates for this event.

Registration is required to save your seat!

Visit www.CCASTD.org for more details about the program and how to register!

CPLP Discussion Panel - May 23rd 2007

Just a quick note for those in & around the Chicagoland area:

CCASTD is hosting a CPLP Discussion Panel at Harris Bank in Buffalo Grove, IL this coming Wednesday evening - May 23rd 2007 - from 5:15pm to 8:00pm.

This event features area CPLP certified (including me!) & CPLP candidates discussing their experiences with the CPLP program. They'll answer questions, such as:
  • What motivated you to pursue the CPLP certification?
  • How relevant is the CPLP certification to you and your job?
  • What do you see as the future of the CPLP certification process?
  • What advice do you have for others who are considering pursuing the CPLP?

This event is moderated by Ken Phillips - of Ken Phillips & Associates -- one of the original CPLP Pilot participants.

I hope to see you there!
