Changes to CPLP Work Product Submissions

The following changes have been made by the ASTD Certification Institute (ASTD CI) to the CPLP Work Product submission process:

ELIMINATION OF CHALLENGE QUESTIONS
Quote from ASTD Certification Institute Web site, "After extensive review and analysis of the work product process, ASTD CI, in conjunction with its testing vendor, eliminated the challenge questions as a requirement for the work product submission in an effort to streamline the assessment process. As a result, thechallenge questions will be dropped as a requirement."

[And there was much singing & rejoicing in the lands of CPLP! Ding dong the Challenge Questions are no more! Yay cake!]

CHANGES TO WORK PRODUCT SCORING
Work product scores will now be based solely on the work sample and related essay responses. Scores will be distributed across 4 key areas (planning, relationships, output, and outcomes) with 12 being the maximum possible points and 8 or higher qualifying as a passing score.

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF THE FACILITATING ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE AOE
Due to low candidate turnout, ASTD CI is suspending the Facilitating Organizational Change (FOC) AOE as a work product offering at the present time. Individuals who may have considered this AOE are encouraged to review other AOEs for an alternative option. Nearly all candidates have been able to submit in one of the other areas, especially Improving Human Performance (IHP). For more information about the AOE options, refer to the corresponding chapters of the Candidate Bulletin (Chapters 4 - DL, Chapter 5 - DT, Chapter 6 -IHP, Chapter 7 - M&E and Chapter 9 - MLF).

Did you know...? 1 in 4 candidates fail the Work Product submission process? Don't be the 1!
